Referring to the argument of economic recession in Canada, where is that Prime Minister that was the head during the recession now? Voters don't give a politican 7 years of opportunity to be 'hardworking' just because they step into the leader's shoes. Yes you might be hardworking, but if for 7 years you can't do your job well, too bad, you should be long gone

多謝你的意見,我絕對接納,人人對每件事有不同看法,為了香港有新局面,董絕對應該退,我對他的同情,只在於欣賞他的勤奮和他的寬容,替他所不屑的各界以傷害而侮辱性的說話,去鄙視他的工作熱誠

如果我們如果要去評價一個政治家，我們的標準，和評價一個普通人的標準，應該是不同的。對政治家，我們應該多用功利主義的角度去思考，畢竟，他的工作是關於眾人的福祉，因此，眾人的福祉也應該是衡量他的標準。列根出名懶，每日十二時前下班打高爾夫球；但他卻被視為二次戰後的最好的總統，因為根據美國利益，他贏盡了。
因此，我會同意kursk對董先生的評價。慶祝不慶祝，我想，我們也未至於當年蘇東波時，東歐人般狂歡吧：我們只是發揮英國人遺留下來的刻薄。

還有，香港人還是愛smart ass多一點。
記得朋友經常引以自省的一句話︰「我再差都有自知之明…」
一個人最差劣的心理狀況，莫過於沒有自知之明。董先生不知進退，足証他欠缺這種心性﹔但更更差劣的一點，是他自負心腸好，愛國意志勝過一切攔阻(包括能力之不逮)，因此他的反省能力幾乎等於零。這種人的自我形象最為脆弱，因此容易動氣﹔同時，他們也是最危險的，因為會假借「善良」之名去作任何事。
曾經在日記裡引述魯益師的話，這裡不妨再度引述︰

董先生心有餘而力不足, 其心腸是好的, 但能力低得可以. 所以對其表現作高度評價的人, 不是白痴就是偽君子.
不過, 經董先生無為而治一輪, 香港經濟已可稍作喘息. 請當撈曾不要好大喜功大興土木, 加息問題隨時可令經濟再試谷底.
