  • 在下係中大哲學系碩士生，可以有幾句說話講講：

    1.首先我身為哲學系人，唔想過於hardsell，所以我唔多講哲學系喇。(雖然我認為哲學系都可以係中學通識既一支有影響力既主流，你可以參考一二。)
    2.所謂「傳說中既CU學術氣氛」，o係MA課程之中我唔覺得會保留多少，因為我都旁聽過一兩舍MA課，感覺係同學比起本科生認真，只是水平不及。
    3.我本科修讀了兩年文化研究課程，之前轉去讀哲學兩年，中間修讀過一兩個政政系既科目，而且同政政系既兩三個同學有交流，所以文化研究、政政、哲學三科O係中大水準如何我都略有所聞。
    4.由於題目比較敏感，不如你留低一個EMAIL，等我同你聯絡再傾傾。

  • 讀PhiD啦....唔駛怕返學遠或近(基本上不用返學)，可以揀自己鍾意的題目(?!)，而且書想讀幾多有幾多(只有更多)。

  • 想當年，我一個星期起碼有一次見你『裙拉褲甩』咁跑去追過海巴士返part-time course (下刪一千字)... 我建議你揀HKU囉。

  • 睇完cuhk 的 MA in intercultural studies o既course list 都幾有趣wor
    都好似我而家讀緊果D，我地有一科cultural studies同埋有科elective係sociology ，讀左之後真係覺得好有興趣

    但係敝系唔會有parttime教MA
    所以好大程度係翻炒undergrad course
    然後深DD咁囉

  • 我亦讀過一些類似intercultural studies的課程，真的很「吹水」，一則並不是可以學到很多東西，二則很難學以致用，三則其實只要平日多讀報章，多思考，結果也是跟讀這科一樣。

  • 雖然我不真的認識你.... 不過見到有MSSc in Sociology (CUHK) 想講一講

    SOCIOLOGY有2個 Taught Master Program... MSSc的那一個是關於Research only，還有另一個MA in Sociology是關於theory的..... 留意留意!

  • By the way, I just noticed that the tuition fee is raised from this year onwards.  Well, study it before it is further icreased La!!! 

    The teachers (most of them, not all) of our programme are really great!  They are nice but knowledgeable (again, some, not all), and the whole programme teaches you how to understand, interpret and dissact the various social problems and issues.  It is a bit nicer than Sociology if you are not learning about the METHODS, but the ways of thinking, while it is A BIT LIGHTER than Philosophy in that sense. 

    It is a mix of many domains and that's why we call it 'Interdisciplinary', so they will provoke you and brainstorm you for many many things.  However, at the beginning, for those who are not from any of the closely-related fields, it is hard to catch up, and you would be very confused.  But gradually you will learn A LOT from it......
