@bigarnex - Sorry, sir!  I teach Putonghua as well, in fact.  Just, I don't know the English names of those Taiwan places, as many of thekir names are not in PTH 'Pinyin', as you can see the example from Kaohsiung (as well as Taipei in fact, as the PTH pinyin should be Tai2bei3).  I have used the quotation marks ('') to mark it as it was just the transliteration so people here understand what I was talking about.  (And as fact proved, clever crowd here including you understood which city I was referring to, right? )  Well, sorry but with this netbook I am currently using, I can't input Chinese......
