Chinese soldiers accused of unfair tactics in Hong Kong race
Two People's Liberation Army teams Friday took part in the Oxfam Trailwalker charity race for first time since setting up garrisons in Hong Kong in 1997, when British colonial rule ended.
Their four-man teams finished first and second in the race around Hong Kong's rural New Territories but were accused of using a vast support crew and deliberately holding up rival teams.

PLA didn't play fair, runners claim
Fellow runners have accused the PLA's teams in the Oxfam Trailwalker charity race of violating the spirit of the event by adopting a "win at all costs" mentality.
They said the soldiers used an enormous support crew compared to those of other teams and that their support runners employed gamesmanship to stop other teams overtaking them. PLA teams took first and second place in the annual 100 kilometre endurance run on Friday.Oxfam fund-raising manager and event organiser Brenda Wong Yuk-han said the PLA had a support crew of "at least 50 people".
